ireki

From Wiktionary, the free dictionary

Basque

[edit]

Etymology

[edit]

Possibly from Proto-Basque *e-re-ki.[1] But some dialectal forms have -d- so it might be from Proto-Basque *e-de-ki. These both postulate use of a verb suffix -ki, but the k might be part of the root.
