[edit]in- + *bléenan + zich. *bléenan is from Middle High German blæjen, from Old High German blāen, from Proto-West Germanic *blāan, from Proto-Germanic *blēaną; cognate with German blähen, English blow.

- (Sette Comuni, reflexive) to swell, swell up
