Inherited from Ottoman Turkish عنادینه (ʿinādına),[1] from عناد (ʿinād),[2] equivalent to inat (obstinacy, stubbornness) +‎ (possessive suffix) +‎ -(n)a (dative suffix with "n" as buffer consonant).
