[edit]Inherited from Ottoman Turkish عنادینه (ʿinādına),[1] from عناد (ʿinād),[2] equivalent to inat (“obstinacy, stubbornness”) + -ı (possessive suffix) + -(n)a (dative suffix with "n" as buffer consonant).
