hypermetamorphosis (countable and uncountable, plural hypermetamorphoses)

1. (biology) A kind of complete metamorphosis in which the different larval instars represent two or more different forms of larva.

   Synonym: hypermetamorphism

2. (neurology) A neurobehavioral disorder that involves patients grabbing objects in view and starting the appropriate behavior associated with it at an inappropriate time.
