- The main interest of these results seems to me to lie in the fact that they provide new evidence in support of the importance of antidromic impulses in sensory nerves; the results suggest that these nerves produce dilatation under physiological conditions by liberating histamine. The adjective "histaminergic" is proposed for these nerves.
