1. (of a male turkey) Surrounded by a harem of female turkeys and unlikely to move in response to a call.

     One of the biggest obstacles most turkey hunters will face is dealing with henned-up toms. They've already gathered their harem, and are in no hurry to leave them for the proverbial "bird in the bush."
