Phrase
[edit]- (colloquial) not so bad, not that big of an issue (compared to what the other person fears, or in comparison to different circumstances)
- Wenn du die Prüfung nicht bestehst, dann ist das halb so wild. Du kannst sie wiederholen.
- If you don't pass the exam, it's not that big of a deal. You're allowed to retake it.
- Die Änderungen wären nur halb so wild, wenn sie wenigstens ordentlich dokumentiert wären.
- These changes wouldn't be so bad if they were at least properly documented.
