  1. (colloquial) not so bad, not that big of an issue (compared to what the other person fears, or in comparison to different circumstances)
    Wenn du die Prüfung nicht bestehst, dann ist das halb so wild. Du kannst sie wiederholen.
    If you don't pass the exam, it's not that big of a deal. You're allowed to retake it.
    Die Änderungen wären nur halb so wild, wenn sie wenigstens ordentlich dokumentiert wären.
