1. (science fiction) Synonym of aircab, a flying taxi, particularly a helicab or autogyro taxi.

     They were not there waiting for her, after all. She came upon them getting out of a gyrocab just as she emerged from the tubes a on to street level. The gyrocabbie, wide-eyed, gazed after his fares for a moment, then hovered upward and away.
