Etymology

Originally coined by New York Magazine’s The Cut in late May 2017 as blend of gorp (“trail mix”) +‎ normcore.

1. A style of fashion characterized by functional outdoor wear such as fleece jackets, parkas, gore-tex jackets and pants, and many other utilitarian styles.
