- Now the Municipal Laws of this Kingdom, which I thus call Leges non Scriptæ, are of a vaſt Extent, and indeed include in their Generalty all thoſe ſeveral Laws which are allowed, as the Rule and Direction of Juſtice and Judicial Proceedings, and which are applicable to all thoſe various Subjects, about which Juſtice is converſant.
