     The farms are unproductive, and each household reap their plots from beach to hill.

   • 1949, Ivar Kleiven, Heimegrendi, Vågå historielag, page 123:

     Um Morgonen har Elvi gøymt dei nakne Fjørune.

     In the morning, the river will have hidden its beaches.

Usage notes

• This form was the standard form allowed under Midlandsnormalen, the ill-fated, lesser-used spelling norm of 1901, which faded into oblivion and was superseded definitely by 1917. This form may still be used dialectally by users in the Norwegian Midlands.
