firleje nvir pl

  1. (Kielce) Synonym of świecidełka
  2. (Kielce) type of party celebrated in the winter season, for which village girls, after finishing spinning, or distaff, invite bachelors. The girls themselves contribute to it and order a violinist and a bass player directly from themselves. This party takes place in one of the farmhouses, not in an inn. The hostess of this feast is one of the girls of the group. At first, when all the invited to this party gather, the girls start spinning the distaff, - but soon they stop working, the music starts, and those present start dancing.
    Coordinate term: gołda
