    • 1995, Armor, volumes 104-105, page 12:
      It incorporates a massive investment in digitization in its on-board systems, all aimed at improving the reliability, fightability, and operational capability of the tank.
    • 1999, Army RD and A, page 4:
      The total weight of the items worn and carried by the squad leader and infantry rifleman cannot be increased as capability and functionality is increased because of the adverse effects on mobility and fightability.
