Etymology
[edit]Blend of feminine + phenomenon, coined by Chappell Roan in her 2022 single "Femininomenon". Chappell created the word because it was "a phenomenon if sleeping with a man [was] better than sleeping with a girl".[1] She expanded on this in a Reddit comment.[2]
