  1. (Sette Comuni) vestryman
    De fabrisiire, an botta, zèint gaéest patruun machan au sulle bor de khércha; hòite zèintza patruum ghèltanze abe.
    The vestrymen were once masters of accumulating debts for the church; today they are masters of settling them.
