Usage notes

Notice that in some contexts, the existence of the second sense may render this term contranymous. For example, etnisk dansker ordinarily means "ethnic Dane", i.e. someone of Danish ethnicity, but employing the second definition, it could be read as "Dane descended from non-Western immigrants".
