durorthid (plural durorthids)

  1. (soil science) A type of orthid that has a duripan.
    • 1976, Central Nevada Land Use Plan, page 73:
      These soils are more productive than the cryoboralfs, durothids, and durargids but are less productive than the cryoborolls.
