drop down (third-person singular simple present drops down, present participle dropping down, simple past and past participle dropped down)

  1. (nautical, intransitive) To sail, move, or row down a coast, or down a river to the sea.
  2. Used other than figuratively or idiomatically: see drop,‎ down.
    The glass bottle dropped down to the ground where it shattered.
  3. (reciprocal, intransitive) To end a friendship (usually in school) with each other.
    Tyler and Alice dropped down.
