Etymology

From Old Swedish drāpliker, from Middle Low German draplik (“that hits the target”). Equivalent to dråp (“hit, strike”) +‎ -lig (“-ly”).

1. (archaic) considerable, peculiar, great, mighty, marvelous
2. poorly executed or going poorly in such a way so as to be unintentionally comical (or laughable)

   Alla gäster körde fel när de skulle till festen. Det var rätt dråpligt.

   All the guests got lost driving to the party. It was a pretty comical.

   a silly / laughable accusation
