[edit]From Proto-Gorontalo-Mongondow *do-dagum, from Proto-Philippine *daʀum, from Proto-Malayo-Polynesian *zaʀum.[1] Cognate with Mongondow dodagum, Gorontalo dagum, Maguindanao ragum, Tagalog karayom.
