densify (third-person singular simple present densifies, present participle densifying, simple past and past participle densified)

1. (transitive) To make (more) dense.

   Some space missions cool the propellant to almost freezing to densify it, so they can fit more fuel and oxidizer in the tanks.

     This primary control network [of triangulation stations] was densified by the addition of 2,695 secondary control stations, 12,236 tertiary control stations and 7,032 fourth order control stations.

2. (intransitive) To become (more) dense.
