  1. (transitive) To make (more) dense.
    Some space missions cool the propellant to almost freezing to densify it, so they can fit more fuel and oxidizer in the tanks.

      This primary control network [of triangulation stations] was densified by the addition of 2,695 secondary control stations, 12,236 tertiary control stations and 7,032 fourth order control stations.
