[edit]Akin to Southern Kurdish, Central Kurdish and Gurani دواهی (dwahî), Zazaki dimaîn. Unless daw is not a rebracketing from dawî, from earlier *dihawî < *diwahî, from dû (“tail, end; after”) + -ahî (“-ity, -ness”), which is preserved in Southern dialects as dûmahî. In some dialects displaced by axirî or xilasî.
