The largest myotubes with extensive cytoimmunofluorescence were observed in cultures treated with insulin [10 nM], or LiCl [5 mM], or when insulin was administered with LiCl. No detectable green light from myosin sarcomere protein was noticed in LY294002 treated cultures.
