   chtieti radějí něčemu ― to prefer something

   Chce sě mi píti. ― I'd like to drink.

2. (auxiliary, with an infinitive) will; to be going (to do something); forms the future tense

   Že chceš vždy v krčmě ležěti, dietky chtie hladem zemřieti.

   As you only want to sit in the pub, the children will die of hunger.

   Zlý člověk to chce býti. ― It must be a bad man.
