bull ring (plural bull rings)

  1. (bullfighting) The area in which bullfighting takes place.
  2. (US, horse racing) An unusually short track, typically six furlongs or less for one lap.
  3. (military slang, obsolete, chiefly British) A corral wherein horses are exercised and riders trained.[1]
