  1. urgency due to lack of time, hurry (you "have bråttom" rather than "are in a hurry")
    Synonym: (colloquial) brådis
    Jag har bråttom, så jag springer
    I'm in a hurry, so I run
    (literally, “I have urgency, so I run”)
    Skynda dig! Det är bråttom.
    Be quick! It is urgent.
    Nu är det bråttom med lanseringen
    Now it's a rush to launch [because time is short]
    (literally, “Now it is urgency with the launch [does not necessarily imply that anything is being done about the urgency, but it's assumed to be implied in this example]”)
