Usage notes

bolom must be used with jadi when the sentence construction is "X be not Y yet" (both X and Y are nouns). More examples of the usage are as follows.

  • Tadi ta lia nga bolom tidor.
    I saw you were not sleeping yet.
  • Depe makanan bolom dingin.
    The food is not cold yet.
  • Ta pe ana bolom jadi polisi.
    My son is not a police officer yet.
