[edit]From Proto-Albanian *blōra, from Proto-Indo-European *bʰloh₁-r-os, from the root *bʰleh₁- (“blue, green, yellow”). Cognate to Latin flōrus (“golden yellow, reddish-yellow”)[1] and Proto-Germanic *blēwaz (“blue, dark”). Possibly borrowed from Proto-Celtic *blaros (“gray”),[2] compare blár
