    • 2016 February 2, “Metal-Induced Production of a Novel Bioadsorbent Exopolysaccharide in a Native Rhodotorula mucilaginosa from the Mexican Northeastern Region”, in PLOS ONE[1], →DOI:
Each solution prepared was put into contact with 5 mg of pure EPS, obtained from the growth of Rhodotorula mucilaginosa strain UANL-001L in YM medium for 120 hours, for two hours under constant agitation (100 rpm), at a fixed pH of 7 and 25°C. The bioadsorption curve was constructed from an analysis of the UV-Vis absorption of the methylene blue solution before and after equilibrium with the EPS, using a UV–VIS spectrophotometer (Varian Cary 50 scan) at a wavelength of 665 nm.
