Usage notes

• Spanish uses (with the sole exception of American/Puerto Rican Spanish, owing to the influence of English) the long scale rather than the short scale. For this reason, it is formally incorrect to speak of billonarios, since no person exists who holds a wealth exceeding 10¹² of any major world currency.
