    Inherited from Ashokan Prakrit *𑀪𑀓𑁆𑀔 (*bhakkha, lump) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀉𑀮𑁆𑀮- (-ulla-) + -𑀓- (-ka-). Cognate with Southeast Pashayi [script needed] (bakoṭā́), Northeast Pashayi [script needed] (baγuṭṓ, stout, fat), Kalami [script needed] (bakū́l, strong, thick, fat).
