beeldjeskoop
Appearance
Dutch
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Traditionally considered a compound of beeldje + -s- + koop (stem of kopen (“to buy”)) (in which case it would be an exocentric compound, with an unusual head), but considered a univerbation of beeldjes + koop based on the slogan beeldjes te koop (“statuettes for sale”) by the WNT.[1]
Pronunciation
[edit]Noun
[edit]beeldjeskoop m (plural beeldjeskopen)
