[edit]From Tavringer Romani bickna, bäckna (“to sell”), from Romani bikinel (“to sell”). and to Hindi बेचना (becnā, “sell”). Related to Sanskrit विक्रीणाति (vikrīṇāti, “to sell”) and Pali vikkiṇāti (“he sells”).
