  1. (transitive) To earn a badge (such as by becoming a police officer).
  2. (intransitive) To wear a badge as a marker of identity.
  3. (intransitive) To acquire, bring or wield a badge to use as a marker of identity.

  5. (transitive) To market products with figurative "badges", such as to claim product quality or popularity.
