- (medicine) A condition where the voice is characterized by amphoric sound over the patient's lung cavity.

- Amphoric voice, or amphoriloquy of cavities. — The cavernous direct pectoriloquy, or thoracic voice of the third stage of phthisis, occasionally is found to partake of a hollow vessel, pitcher, or amphoric tone.
