Cognate with Unami mùxul (“boat, canoe”), Mahican amaxoon (“boat”), Abenaki amasol (“canoe”), Penobscot ámasol (“canoe”), Massachusett mishoòn (“boat, canoe”), Narragansett mishoon (“boat, canoe”), Loup A amisȣl (“boat, canoe”), Mohegan-Pequot mushoy (“boat, canoe”).[1][2]
