From Wiktionary, the free dictionary

Italian

[edit]

Verb

[edit]

ammutinàre (first-person singular present ammùtino or (less preferred) ammutìno[1], first-person singular past historic ammutinài, past participle ammutinàto, auxiliary avére)

  1. (transitive, uncommon) to persuade (someone) to mutiny, to incite to rebellion

Usage notes

[edit]
  • Treccani and DOP give both ammùtino and ammutìno. Hoepli gives only ammutìno, while Garzanti gives only ammùtino. DiPI specifically prescribes ammùtino and gives ammutìno as less preferred, which is what is indicated here.
