[edit]From a- (privative prefix) + céalómach (“coelomate”) or a- + céalóm (“coelom”) + -ach, ultimately from Ancient Greek ᾰ̓- (a-, privative prefix) and κοίλωμα (koílōma, “hollow, cavity”).
