  1. (archaic) A form of hydroaeroplane; a flying boat.
    • 1914, Flying, volume 3, page 181:
      In addition, since the size of aeroboats is quite limited, it is found that they travel over high seas best when they can rise and fall exactly with the contour of each wave, instead of spanning waves.
