  1. Pre-reform spelling (used until 1943 in Brazil and 1911 in Portugal) of acrólito.
    • 1925 October 5, “Senador Paulo de Frontin [Senator Paulo de Frontin]”, in O Mundo Literario, number 42, Rio de Janeiro, page 526:
      As pessoas, que acompanhavam, tomadas de terror panico, emparedadas pelo intradorso acrolitho da galeria, desmaiaram quasi, sacudidas no deslocamento formidavel de ar produzido pelas explosões successivas.
      The people who were present, seized with panic terror and pressed against the acrolith in the intrados of the gallery, almost fainted, shaken in the formidable displacement of air caused by the successive explosions.
