Etymology

Inherited from Ottoman Turkish عاجلاً (ʿācilen),[1][2] from Arabic عَاجِلًا (ʕājilan) adverbial accusative of عَاْجِل (ʕājil), from عَجِلَ (ʕajila, to hurry).[3]
