Just popped in from WP to send my luck and bests. A lot of these terms have changed over time, but to get an understanding of historical papers etc we do need the terms defined for all eras... I think there needs to be some system to indicate a superceded term or one that has had differing definitions over time ... I'll be around as a sounding board if you like - although you might have to ping me over at WP [1] to get my attention! Leevanjackson 11:20, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

We mark terms as {{archaic}} if they are no longer in use but likely to be understood, and {{obsolete}} if they are out of use and likely to be unknown to modern speakers. We would tend to include the modern equivalents where they exist. bd2412 T 14:23, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
And some of us like to use {{dated}} if the word was in use when we were young (many years ago). SemperBlotto 14:26, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

alvine evacuations

[edit]

Just added alvine evacuations. I suspect it can use various forms of TLC, so if anyone from this group is interested... JesseW 22:50, 12 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
