Avoid Webster's dictionary, Rosetta edition

I looked at the external links section and spotted a link to the the Rosetta Edition of Webster's dictionary. From that website's terms of use:

Can I Copy Material from this Site?

Apart from the restrictions on viewing source and saving copies of their pages to disk (which betray, in my opinion, an ignorance of web technology), that dictionary is extremely hostile to wikification and, in my opinion, does not even deserve an external link here, any more than Microsoft deserves a link from GNU. If you really want to get the source materal, grab it from Project Gutenberg. All 43 MB of data, if you will. 12 MB as a zipped source. Smaller chunks are available as well, and this is all in the public domain. It is very likely that this is the source of the Rosetta data anyway. --Robert Horning 12:41, 18 July 2005 (UTC)

The above notice merely states what they shall and shall not give their permission for - I suspect it includes some activities (such as reverse engineering) which you can legally undertake regardless of whether you have their permission. --James Chenery 11:39, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

What is this site all about?

Is it meant to give Wiktionary editors instructions on how to format stuff from Webster's dictionary to make it conform with Wiktionary layout? Ncik 04:14, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
