Right ro left Languages and Left to right supplement

[edit]

Hi, I am new here and i wanted to add some words to the Persian Dictionary. For that i took the English word "Book" I copied the Information to the Persian-site and changed the meanings and soo. The problem i was facing with it was that the Perian Wiktionary is writhing from right to left and the English one from left to right. If you copy a link from the english-site and paste it in to the persian (or any other rtl-language) the letters are mixed up. so it the website should have a button where i can choose to wright from left to wright or from right to left. Here an example: http://fa.wiktionary.org/wiki/کتاب If you look to the language links, they are not working bicouse the letters are mixed uo in the html source cheers Ali p.s sorry for my english!

Hi Ali. Don't worry, the letters are still typed and stored in the same order on the Persian and English wiktionaries. Just the Persian is shown in the right-to-left order. The HTML source should be the same in either case. If not there is something wrong with your browser or some other piece of software. — Hippietrail 02:21, 30 May 2005 (UTC)Reply
