Bugs
[edit]- Why do I have to mark a thread as read when I've replied to it? Surely the reply indicates that I've read it? (from user talk:Bequw) Thryduulf (talk) 08:48, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
When I have marked the thread as read, if I then click on the thread title I'm taken to a 404 page that suggests I look at the main page - not helpful in the slightest. (from user talk:Bequw) Thryduulf (talk) 08:48, 28 June 2010 (UTC)Resolved. --Bequw → τ 19:49, 4 September 2010 (UTC)- the link marked "full thread" doesn't show me the full thread, it shows me the index of threads, with just the first handful of messages shown. Even if I click to show all the replies after this point, I'm not given the opportunity of marking the thread read. (from user talk:Bequw) Thryduulf (talk) 08:48, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
When previewing the reply to the first message of a thread, duplicate previews are shown, one above the other. --Bequw → τ 15:22, 4 July 2010 (UTC)resolved, I think. --Bequw → τ 19:44, 4 September 2010 (UTC)- When "Maximum reply depth to show" is set to 0, the "Show X replies" link does not work: bug. --Bequw → τ 19:39, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- Bug has been fixed in the source. --Bequw → τ 05:25, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- When clicking "mark as read" in Special:NewMessages, the link to the thread (inside "The thread foo was marked as read.") replaces all spaces in the URL with %20, breaking the link. --Yair rand (talk) 05:32, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- Upon testing, it appears this only happens in the thread titles part of the URL not the page title. But this is a common replacement, why does it break links for you? For example, both http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Thread%3AWiktionary%3ALiquidThreads_testing/more_dots and http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Thread%3AWiktionary%3ALiquidThreads_testing/more%20dots work for me (in FF & Chrome). (PS this might have been the breakage noted at #2). --Bequw → τ 13:30, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- How strange. When clicking on the link from NewMessages I get a 404, but when copying the URL anywhere it works fine. --Yair rand (talk) 17:30, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

Missing features
[edit]- I want the ability to watch the page for new threads, but unwatch the ones that don't interest me. This functionality (as best I can tell) doesn't exist. (from user talk:Bequw) Thryduulf (talk) 08:48, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
- Some were listed here waiting potential feedback. --Bequw → τ 05:07, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
