Noun Templates

Of course not. I think it would be cool if we added locative cases as well. After all, we have a great advantage over print Latin dictionaries: no worries about the space it would take up. Galanskov 00:02, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Modified noun templates

While I do love the usage of the Template:Notred, the noun templates don't function as they ought to when a macron is present in the stem, as far as I can tell. Thus, puella's inflection template links to all of its forms while pātrōna has no links. It would be excellent if some template wiz would be able to get this somehow corrected. In theory, an optional second parameter could take a macron-less version of the stem (i.e. {{la-decl-1st|puell}} vs. {{la-decl-1st|pātrōn|patron}}). Thanks much! Medellia 07:40, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

BiT is the person to talk to. BiT fixed the Latin adjective templates when they had the same problem. Of course, you might be able to figure it out for yourself by looking at Template:la-decl-1&2. --EncycloPetey 07:55, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

It ended up being terribly simple to correct. I changed only Template:la-decl-1st and will get to the others. Basically, there is an optional second parameter for stems with macrons. While {{la-decl-1st|puell}} and other such macron-less forms still function properly, {{la-decl-1st|patron|pātrōn}} also now works correctly. Medellia 15:29, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
