Placement of "Descendants"

[edit]

Voting on: Fixing the placement and the level of the "Descendants" section in all entries.

Proposals:

  1. As the last subsection of the POS section.
  2. As the last L3 subsection of the language section.

Example (proposal 1):

==English==

===Noun===

(all other L4 subsections of the noun sense are located here)

====Descendants====

===Adjective===

(all other L4 subsections of the adjective sense are located here)

====Descendants====

Example (proposal 2):

==English==

===Noun===

===Adjective===

===Descendants===

Rationale:

  • Arguably, descendants are the information that is more "distant" from the the rest of the entry, because it concerns other languages.
    • The proposal 1 retains the information of what POS sense the descendants come from.
    • The proposal 2 places the descendants as the last information available in the entry. (Disclaimer: descendants from different POSes could be located in different collapsible tables in this section, to retain the information of what POS sense the descendants come from).

Schedule:

  • Vote starts: 00:00, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
  • Vote ends: 23:59, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
