Wiktionary:Esperanto headword-line templates

From Wiktionary, the free dictionary

This page lists the most important Esperanto templates that can be used for headword lines. A full list is at Category:Esperanto headword-line templates.

Automatic part of speech

[edit]

The template {{eo-head}} automatically tries to detect the part of speech based on the ending of a word. It can be used with all nouns, adjectives and verbs, and adverbs ending in -e. It can also be used with inflected forms of these.

Participles

[edit]

While participles could in theory use {{eo-head}}, they will be classed as nouns, adjectives and adverbs then, which is not desirable as there are special categories for participles. Thus, instead, there is a special template {{eo-part}} for participles.
