English Wiktionary Discord server rules

1. Stay on topic: discussions should pertain to the topic of the channel, and generally be to the benefit of the project (the English edition of Wiktionary).
2. Treat each other with respect.
3. Use English for discussion whenever possible. Use of other languages may be accepted when beneficial.
4. Your Discord nickname must include your Wiktionary username, or some other name by which you are widely known on Wiktionary. Please use @WikiAuthBot to get the Confirmed Users role. Everyone on this server is encouraged to have a Wiktionary account.
5. Any topics for which a decision may have wider consequences, such as to active Wiktionary editors outside this server or to all Wiktionary users, are strongly encouraged to be discussed on-wiki with the wider community before making any decisions. The purpose of the Discord server is to facilitate communication, not to act as an off-wiki decision-making body.
