∂ανίΠα
- Please change <∂ανίΠα> to <DAVilla>. ∂ανίΠα 16:18, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Support! :-) An admin must have an easy name to type (and the sysop settings will automatically follow the name change). Cheers! bd2412 T 17:35, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
- Support There's good reason for this name-change... any other votes, either for or against? — Paul G 09:10, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- You really don't have to vote on these things... If a user wants a change and follows the above-mentioned criteria, s/he gets the change. — Vildricianus 12:46, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry - I was sort of making a joke (and pointing out that the change would not complicate the applicant's sysop status). Cheers! bd2412 T 13:48, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- Of course you were, but Paul seemed to take it seriously. I was kind of surprised that he voted instead of just changed the name. Anyway, it's always good to see something unexpected, especially from our 'crats :-). — Vildricianus 15:28, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

- How many usernames does Davilla/DAVilla/∂ανίΠα want? --Brandnewuser 15:29, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- He is requesting a change of name here, not an additional name - it appears that he wants one name, User:DAVilla. bd2412 T 17:16, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- Well, since User:Brandnewuser created the above account, Davilla will have to find a new name. — Vildricianus 15:02, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. --Brandnewuser 15:07, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- It is my understanding that a 'Crat can over-ride an existing account with no edits, so if no edits have been made from User:DAVilla, the name can still be moved there. bd2412 T 16:35, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know if it's technically possible without developer intervention. But what a bcrat can do is rename User:DAVilla to a random name and then rename the initial account to the newly created void. — Vildricianus 17:40, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- Done. It took a couple of minutes to go through <imagines the server straining to make all the changes> but User:DAVilla is now there. Please, no more "∂ανίΠα"s (from anyone)! :) — Paul G 09:20, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Connel MacKenziebot
- Please change <Connel MacKenziebot> to <Connel MacKenzieBot>. --Connel MacKenzie 03:01, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Note: "b" --> "B" ("bot" --> "Bot") to conform with the robot naming standard. This is the "user" account I sign in as, when I am running a user-space bot (without the bot flag) as a one-time 'bot run. These edits are always marked minor, so that people patrolling Special:Recentchanges can simply click "hide minor edits" to skip them. Thank you! --Connel MacKenzie 03:01, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
AYArktos -> Golden Wattle
- To match the change I have requested on English Wikipedia[1], could you please change User:AYArktos to User:Golden Wattle. Thank you --AYArktos 00:04, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
- "Accounts with less than 250 edits will not be renamed". It is much easier to just create a new account. — Vildricianus 11:13, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Shanel
A Wonderfool sock and impostor of me. Requesting that it be renamed so that I may register this account. Shanel 12:49, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Done. I'll leave a note on your WP talk page, too. Dvortygirl 05:01, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
WOW
- Please change User:WOW to new username hidden - privacy issues. User:WOW 10:01, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
It does not stand for "Willy on Wheels" but I get blocked quite alot.
- Thanx new username hidden - privacy issues 10:21, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
Snottygobble -> Hesperian
Please change my username to Hesperian, as I have just made that change on the English Wikipedia. Thanks in advance. Snottygobble 00:55, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
KonstTheRealOne -> Konstable
I am w:en:User:Konstable - an admin on the English Wikipedia. I was impersonated here by a disgruntled troll who took User:Konstable. It would be good if I could have that account.--KonstTheRealOne 05:54, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, this is a known WP vandal, impersonating Konstable, a WP sysop. I had blocked for a few days while checking it out and didn't get back when I intended to. Sorry. I've confirmed this with the real w:Konstable. Please Check the page history before believing anything! Robert Ullmann 10:04, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
Can't sleep, clown hijacked my username -> Can't sleep, clown will eat me
Similar predicament as those above. Please perform the move at your leisure and drop me a note at w:User:Can't sleep, clown will eat me post migration. :o) Can't sleep, clown hijacked my username 06:10, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Ingoolemo -> Karl Dickman
- I now use this name on the English Wikipedia, and I should here as well because the Single User Login will be coming online sometime this year. Ingoolemo (talk) 23:29, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- Done. Thanks for the nudge on my talk page. I've been taking it easy this month on Wiktionary (or trying to) and so have not been watching the administrative stuff too closely. Dvortygirl 01:35, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
